Route 19 League - Recreational Soccer for older kids

Historically BWSA has tried to offer recreational soccer at all levels, but due to changing interests and obligations, our oldest age group usually suffers from low enrollment. To offer something different, BWSA has joined the Route 19 League

What is the Route 19 League?

The Route 19 League which is a multi-community in-house program by partnering with Canon MacMillan and Mt. Lebanon. This league is designed as a recreational league for U14 players and above. This program is a fun, fast paced, multi-touch game. Games will alternate fields weekly between Baldwin, Mt. Lebanon, Peters Township, Chartiers Valley,  Keystone Oaks and Canon Mac.

What is the league like?

The games are 5v5 or 6v6 and are played on a U10or U12  sized field.  Modified Futsal rules, ex. kick in's instead of throw in's, are used.  The team will have one night a practice during the season.

Who can play?

For fall 2024 and spring 2025, Players with a birth year of 2006-2011 are eligible.  Teams will be coed.  Requests are accepted, but teams will be balanced by age.
